EnSuite upgrade

CCE, provider of CAD/CAM data translation and viewer products, has announced that EnSuite version 2 has been upgraded to provide support for CATIA V5 R18 files.

The latest version of the multi-CAD viewing, translation and productivity software can open R18 files and translate them to any of the other formats currently supported by EnSuite. It can also write R10 through R14 files, which can be read by R18.

“We are committed to providing support for the latest versions of all the leading CAD systems,” said Vinay Wagle, V.P. sales and marketing of CCE.

EnSuite’s ability to support the latest versions of all leading CAD systems makes it possible for users to work with multi-CAD and multi-version files from customers, vendors and partners without having to consider the costly proposition of investing in CAD licenses and maintenance upgrades. The latest update will be available to all active subscribers as well as new customers.

EnSuite is designed for companies that work in a multi-CAD environment. It provides seamless interoperability with CATIA V4, CATIA V5, Pro/ENGINEER, Unigraphics, and SolidWorks CAD systems as well as Parasolid, IGES and STEP files. Files can be translated to and from any of these formats without the native CAD software.

Going beyond the capabilities of conventional viewers and translators, EnSuite provides a wide range of productivity tools for accessing critical engineering information. Users are prevented from saving changes to the master CAD model to protect its integrity. Licenses are automatically administered and the product updated over the internet.
