Pryor to exhibit at Practical World

Pryor Marking Technology will be exhibiting its extensive range of hand-held marking and stamping products at the forthcoming International Hardware Fair and Practical World , in Cologne, March 9-12, 2008.

The company's stand, C29 in Hall 10.1 will show the full diversity of its product range designed to meet the budget price marking needs of the smallest machine shop or engineering outfit, through to bespoke systems for major manufacturing organisations. The company believes that this event will provide it with the ideal opportunity for meeting potential new hardware and tool resellers for its international distribution network.

Pryor manual marking at CologneJane Royle, sales manager, manual marking products, at Pryor said: "It is important to recognise that whilst there is a lot of attention on the new high-tech marking and traceability systems, there are still a huge number of organisations for whom simple hand held punch and marking solutions more than meet their requirements. The Pryor range of manual marking products provides these organisations with a range of flexible and interchangeable stamps and presses to provide a variety of marking solutions."

Royle continued: "There are very few organisations that do not have a marking need in today's climate of traceability, and data capture and management. The key for many of the hardware and tool resellers is to educate their customers, the end users, as to how marking can help them in the management of their business and which is the appropriate form of marking to use and we can help them with this.

" Part of the British Federation of Handtool Manufacturers' presence, Pryor's stand will include standard hand and hammer punch marking solutions for basic, individual item ID. Also on display will be hand numberers that enable sequential part marking for both alpha and numeric characters, and a range of presses, both manual and air operated. These are complemented by the MarkMate USB(tm) bench mounted marker, and the LD2 Portadot(tm) portable marker from the company's range of world renowned computer controlled dot-peen marking machines.
